DESIGN YOUR OWN T-SHIRT WITH  SCREEN PRINTING USING LETTERS

This is an opportunity for Kids to learn how logos are printed on t-shirts like a professional!  Since we don't have big dollars to bring in the professional shirt presses, we will use a smaller scale but identical process of "screen-printing" for the kids.

 

ARTS SUPPLIES

​

  • Pre-made Letters (A-Z) stencils will allow kids to customize their own name or words on a Blank White T-shirt. ​

  • Using a board to set the shirt on with painters tape to isolate and flatten the stencils, squeegee paint over the stencil, and continue with each letter until they've written their desired outcome.​ 

  • Simple step-by-step instructions will be displayed at the tables.

Pros:   A learning experience, No water necessary.​

Cons:  Possibility of the permanent paint getting on clothing.  Useat their own discretion.  Longer time process designing the t-shirt.

MAKE YOUR OWN SLIME!​

This craft is fun and science at the same time!  This won't be a science class per-se, but they will get to see first hand how this safe based reaction occurs right before their eyes for glue to turn into slime!  This

ARTS SUPPLIES

​

  • Children will be using 6 oz. plastic jars to store their created slime ready to take home!  The container will tightly air the slime to be used for two weeks.​

  • Styrofoam beads and fish beads to supplement the craft.  They are soft and unlike jewelry beads - safely use.​​

  • Simple step-by-step instruction displayed at the tables.

Pros:   Slime lasts for two weeks if kept in the container.  It's fun and learning experience!

Cons:  uses water

​

RECOMMENDATION:   The craft will be shorter in duration than the T-shirt craft, so thats something to consider.  If a lot of kids show up that day, this will allow them to come in and out quickly. 

​

ENTERTAINTMENT

DRUMMING WITH ALAN

Drumming with Alan is an interactive musical experience!  Alan leads the students in a fun drumming class/performance with his upbeat personality and brings lots of drums for children to hands-on.  It's great fun learning about drums for all ages!

​

Drumming is 40 minutes and there will be an intermission for kids to just play the drums until the next show starts.

​

  • $500 / 12-1pm 1 hr

  • $650 / 12-2pm 2 hrs

REPTILE FAMILY

This is an educational experience as reptiles small and large from all around the world are being presented and talked about!  We will get to see the Domino giant water monitor having his lunch!  The team is in safari outfits and the reptiles are hidden in beautiful Indiana Jones style baskets for a surprise.  The Reptile Family is a big hit among kids and adults!

 

RECOMMENDATION:  I suggest The Reptile Family versus Drumming with Alan. Both shows are educational but I've seen guests and children get amazed, excited and love to hold and ask questions about the animals.   It's a one-on-one experience, followed by a great photo-op.

 

Show is 40 minutes followed by photos with the reptiles.

BAILA BAILA

The Baila Baila program is a dynamic and engaging way to introduce children to learning Spanish through music, arts, and games. During the 45 minutes, children will play instruments, dance, and interact in a completely Spanish immersion environment.

 

Show is 45 minutes ,Class is 1 Hour
